Review: We love the quality of water...however - When the search started for a water purification system we educated ourselves on all the types of systems available. We decided on a molecular hydrogen system. We had our home water tested and pesticides showed up in the results. These were our biggest concern along with the heavy metals. Through all our research...this system was the only one I was able to find that "actually stated" it removed pesticides, and heavy metals. We love the quality of water this system delivers. It tastes clean. About a week later, I noticed a puddle on my countertop underneath our machine. I opened it up and found a leak in a valve. I called desertcart, they shot an email to the company about my issue. The same day I recieved an email from Cosan. The problem was solved that day. 3 days later, my replacement part arrived at my door. I received the best customer service possible. Prompt, professional and highly recommend this company. Thank you Cosan. Update: January 15, 2019 We still love our cosan water system. The only problem we are still having is leaking issues. I have found that the plastic connectors inside the machine cannot take the water pressure of leaving the water valve open over time. This is the second identical leaking issue I have had. If I turn the valve off after every use it will not leak.

I must say that I was very surprised in every way. In the first place, and I think the most important thing is the taste of water. I believe that its flavor and properties, which also hydrogenates the water, exceeds the quality of the ESSENTIA water that was the one we used at home before buying this system. Second, it was very easy to connect the equipment. In my case I took the water from the outlet that goes to the refrigerator, and placed it on the counter next to the refrigerator and the attractive design is really nice and you can not see any hose. Finally, the intelligent technology used to turn on and off the water outlet with just approaching the hand is excellent. It is an excellent purchase, and I recommend it because you will feel satisfied.

**Q: Can this machine produces all kinds of water which produces by Kangen Water Machine sd501?**
A: ChandrakantThe pH on Pure Hydration is not adjustable as it is on the sd501. Pure Hydration puts out a 9.5pH water which is the level that most holistic doctors and Kangen will tell you is the most beneficial pH for our bodies. It will also produces a -400 to -450 ORP which is equal to the sd501 @ the 9.5pH level. Molecular hydrogen which is the smallest and most beneficial antioxidant produced by Pure Hydration is about 1500ppb, this is higher then the sd501 can produce and it will remain in the water for a longer period of time. The Kangen sd501 cost $4500 which is about ten times higher then Pure Hydration at $495. If you are looking for clean pure alkaline antioxidant water at a affordable price there is no comparison Pure Hydration is the hands down winner.

**Q: How do you install the unit or is it standalone on the countertop**
A: Hello MKThank you for your question. The Pure Hydration water ionizer has two methods of installation the first is with a diverter valve that easily connects to faucets that have an aerator simply by screwing the diverter valve on in place of the aerator. The second method has a more custom look and feel to it. We included in the box a solid brass valve that is chrome plated along with all the hardware needed to install. This valve can be installed several different ways 1) by mounting the valve in place of a soap dispenser or pullout spray nozzle that you may have now. 2) Drill a 3/4" hole in the countertop and using included hardware to hook it to your existing cold water supply. I hope this answered your question, if you are at all handy you should have no problem installing the unit yourself, if your not handy then it is just a simple service call for a plumber usually about $75. We are the official US and Canadian distributors for Pure Hydration as well as the service center for all of North America.

**Q: Is it hard to install and fits in any faucet?**
A: It is easy to install and fits on the end of a standard kitchen faucet. They have an online tutorial video if you go to their site. Very good and worth the money in my opinion

**Q: Explain this to me better than the description please. This uses no electric or a filter?**
A: Pure Hydration does not use electricity, but it does use minerals to ionize the water, raise the pH, and produce the molecular hydrogen. The system uses a series of filters that will filter out over 200 different contaminates from chlorine to lead to pharmaceuticals as the water passes through it. The first stage is a cation resin filter which its main purpose is the eliminate heavy metals and to soften the water. The second stage is a compressed ceramic diatomic filter which removes particulate contaminants, sludge, rust, etc.. The third stage is an solid activated carbon block filter that is infused with magnesium to produce molecular hydrogen (the smallest and most beneficial antioxidant to the body) and also the filter out bacteria, viruses, and microbes. The forth stage is another solid carbon block of carbon that contains a mineral chamber inside. The mineral chamber contains an assortment of minerals along with tourmaline, coral, zeolite, KDF, and barley stone.

I must say that I was very surprised in every way. In the first place, and I think the most important thing is the taste of water. First of, had issues with the assembly, and had to call their customer care to figure. No issue there and they were helpful in explaining how to fix. Second, the water tasted weird initially, and we were hoping that will improve with the filter getting used. But it never did even after weeks...So if you are particular about taste of the water, the taste never comparable to bottled alkaline water your buy in the market. Also measured the PH with ph strips and they never were above 8 as they claimed to be. Not sure if this was with my specific unit. By the time we decided enough with it, "the 30 day return policy is over" and i have already spent 120$ for plumber to install. Realized that was a big gamble on my part going in for a cheaper alkaline water alternative after watching some glitzy videos and ph demo, and especially not much service warranty /service option or any extended return/rental policy like other leading brands do. The worst part is, since i was struck with it and continued drinking it, the taste deteriorated over the weeks and pretty much tap water after couple months, and my wife and kids stopped drinking. Manufacturer claim that the filters($125 to replace) is good for 6 months, but that did not hold true in my case either. We live in the city water neighbourhood and the have GE water softener. So now, I am thinking should i trash it or spend $125 every 3-4 months which seems way expensive maintenance $$$$ on a cheap filter
