My son has dry skin and eczema and this works better on him then the lotion given to us by his pediatrician (we are also in a very dry area). Helps with chapped or cracked skin, and we have used it for sunburnt skin. Works like Bag balm (the stores around here run out of bag balm all the time so this is our back up) It does have Lanolin in it and though we have never used it for minor cuts the package does say you can just like you could with Bag balm.
