A: I haven’t measured it but they’re a standard square size. I love them

A: About 10-1/2 inches out of the package. About 11 inches once you've used it a little while and the bristles splay out.

**Q: Would this work on a cast iron skillet**
A: Yes. It works great. When you clean your iron skillet use on a tiny bit of dawn dish washing liquid. You don't want to scrub out your seasonings.

I originally bought these at the grocery store and when I went back to buy more they were nowhere to be found. I was so happy to find them here on Amazon. These are seriously the best. The bristles never fall out, the handle is sturdy but not bulky, it is easy to clean, stuff doesn’t stick to it and it cleans gunk off of my dishes without scratching.
