## Description

Golden Artist Colors Specialty Acrylic Polymers have a minimum amount of thickeners, levelers, defoamers and surfactants to ensure good film formation. GAC 900 is a Fabric Painting Medium which when heat set offers a very soft hand and laundering ability. This product is most useful to artists painting on clothing. GAC 900 can be blended with various acrylic colors to produce fabric paints that can be airbrushed, hand brushed, or screen applied. When heat-set properly offers very soft laundering stability. 8 oz bottle.

**Q: how do you heat set your project?**
A: Dear Juanita, Thank you for your inquiry. For best results, use a blend of 50% GAC900 & 50% Golden Fluid or Heavy Body Acrylic paint. To increase transparency or change viscosity, replace a portion of the paint with a Golden Gel or Medium. Apply as desired, but avoid thick applications. Allow to completely dry, & then Heat-set as follows: Iron 3-5 minutes on medium heat; Commercial oven or heat press 1-2 minutes at 300 degrees fahrenheit/150 degrees celsius; clothes drier 30-40 minutes on high. **Q: How do i use this product**
A: It is used to add to paints to make them iron on for fabrics. So when you hear set regular even cheap acrylics it will set the paint. I will paint on shirts and or jeans and add it to the paints then hear set. Permanent paint on fabrics. Golden on their site has all the info on using their products. Hope that helps.

**Q: Can u use on shoes**
A: I don't see why not. If they are leather or something other than canvas type I would probably paint them first with gesso, but as far as a canvas shoes it should be perfect.

**Q: does this work with any acrylic paint?**
A: Yup!
