If you can't get it to work, I suggest you send it back. I have the plug in too and so far, so good. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price, great quality, comfortable mouse. *by A***A on October 7, 2016* I was skeptical that I would get this mouse and it would look cheap, but I ended up really liking it.It fits well in my hand - and I have pretty small hands. It is comfortable and allows me to keep my hand "relaxed" on the mouse when I am not actively using it. This mouse is not "small" but it is not big either. It is about 4" long and 2 1/2" at it's tallest point. The body of the mouse is glossy black and the hand grip and buttons are a matte black - looks very nice. I am using it with a Macbook Pro so the DPI button on the top and the two thumb buttons do not work for me but I could careless. It also comes with a tiny USB dongle to connect the mouse to your computer. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Broke after 2 weeks *by V***. on September 21, 2016* I actually purchased this just to try a vertical mouse - it was on sale for $3 so I thought I have nothing to lose. The mouse is responsive and easy to use - I used it 6-7 hours a day and it got charged during my breaks, so no issues here. On the downside, the charging cable is like 5 inches long so you'll need an USB port close to your keyboard. It also uses a custom connector so you can't just replace it with a regular USB/microUSB cable.This type of mouse is supposed to help with forearm strain by changing the position of your hand, which sounds good in theory. However, the way this is designed doesn't help a lot with hand position - as you can see from the product picture the thumb position is pretty low so you end up keeping your hand in a very similar position as with a normal mouse. I learned that I can use and I like a vertical mouse, but I will probably go with a model that has a higher thumb support next time, like Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 "Regular Size" Right Hand (model # VM4R) - USB Wired.I noticed that sometimes it got disconnected after my laptop woke up, but this was solved by unplugging the receiver and plugging it back. Finally, the mouse broke down after about 2 weeks of use without any warning - I took a 2 hour break so I let it charge and when I got back the led wasn't lit and the system couldn't find the mouse anymore. I tried plugging the receiver in different USB ports, plugging and unplugging the charger without any change. I could probably return it, but for $3 it wasn't worth the time. ### ⭐ Terrible connection *by A***R on December 5, 2016* I was incredibly excited about this product since I have pretty terrible carpal tunnel and when I first used it, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was compared to my normal mouse. I continued to be happy with this product for about a day, but the next day, after charging it overnight, I try to use it seriously only to discover that the connection is incredibly choppy with my desktop. A few minutes will pass without any issues, but then the connection begins to cut out and there are times when it just completely doesn't register anything that I'm doing with the mouse.
