Review: Good quality and easy to install - For years we've had a Bluetooth speaker in our bathroom. It's always flat, and it sounded rubbish anyway, so I decided to install something more permanent. I'm not audio expert, so I bought these based purely on the reviews, and they didn't let me down. They arrived the next day, and I was a disappointed when I fired them up on the kitchen table. They sounded a bit weak and quiet, but I went ahead and installed them. It was easy enough to do, although the template is millimetre-perfect, which actually made it harder. You need to cut the whole just a fraction larger for an easy fit. Once installed they didn't disappoint. Sound quality is actually very good once they're fixed into a solid surface. Bluetooth connection was instant and stable. The range is also good. I can still hear the speakers playing from the other end of the house, or the garden. Remember that wherever you're planning to install them, you'll need a power socket quite nearby. The power cable is only 1.5 metres long. Just something to keep in mind.

**Q: What is the little switch for on the Bluetooth amplifier**
A: To be honest the Bluetooth amplifier never really worked very well, I replaced it with another unit because it kept stuttering

**Q: Is it compatible with alexa**
A: The Echo dot is not compatible with these speakers.
I have just upgraded to the the Dot 4th gen from a 1st gen Dot, wasting my money,
in order to play music through the speakers. The Dot will not pair via blue tooth  with these speakers.
This is misleading and the answer should be changed on the question and answer section of the product.

For years we've had a Bluetooth speaker in our bathroom. It's always flat, and it sounded rubbish anyway, so I decided to install something more permanent.
