The COLLOMIX TMX 1500 Automatic Material Mixer is a heavy-duty, 32-gallon pan mixer powered by a 3.6 HP motor designed for low-speed, high-torque mixing of tough materials like concrete, mortar, and plaster. Featuring an integrated dust extraction port and a smart trap door for controlled discharge, this German-engineered machine delivers reliable, efficient performance on demanding job sites while maintaining cleaner working conditions.

## Description

The Collomix portable mortar mixer, TMX 1500, is suitable for up to 20 gals of mixing material. Ruggedly constructed, this compact mixer can cope well with construction site conditions. The automatic mixer TMX 1500 is particularly suitable for processing dry and highly-viscous materials such as numerous types of mortar, plaster, screed and concrete. Its main attributes are speed, mobility and reliability – so it saves time, energy and money. One Mixer - Lots of applications: Pointing mortar, Plastering mortar, Cement mortar, Natural Stone Mortar, Plaster for indoors and outdoors, Lime plaster, Gypsum plaster, Adhesive mortar, Tile adhesive, Steel Fiber mortar, Leveling Compounds/Self-Leveling fillers.

Review: Workhorse Machine - This machine went through 80,000 lbs of NHL plaster without trouble and is still going strong. It's built like a tank and is powerful enough to mix 3:1 and 2:1 sand/NHL without and 20,000 lbs of clay/sand mix without any trouble. The only thing I did was remove the grid at the outlet because the fiber in my mix would get caught in the screen. On a side note, get the Colomix water dispenser. It will make adding water easy and consistent (no measuring with buckets) It is also good to premix some of the sand/lime before adding water. Then add additional mix. If you are dealing with Clay, you have to be careful not to add too much water too fast, or it will just spin as a solid block until the water is fully absorbed. Once you have your sequence down it is repeatable and consistent.
