It was well written and delivered all the information you needed to start in a way that did not assume you knew anything about investing. I was surprised - this was a really good overview. It covers bond, stock, hybrid, sector and REIT funds and the author provides specific recommendations. The author also gives practical advice on deciphering fund documentation, fund expenses and taxes. With a 2016 copyright, it needs to be updated soon, but that's the nature of the subject.
