After a cat poops, doesn't the washing make the poop turn to mush?** A: The cat box has a scoop and rotating cat bowl that rotates to pick up the poop. The scoop then lifts up up and slides the solid poop down a waste area with a drain tube. Then it flushes the contents of the tube into your toilet or sewage drain (whichever you have it connected to). It really does work much like a toilet. If it drains into your toilet you do have to flush your toilet after the draining cycle otherwise it does sit in your toilet.
