La costruzione in acciaio è solida e trasmette subito una buona sensazione di qualità. I due rebbi entrano facilmente tra tappo e bottiglia senza rovinare il sughero, anche con tappi più vecchi o delicati. L’estrazione è progressiva e controllata, senza sforzi e senza il rischio di spezzare il tappo, cosa che con i cavatappi tradizionali può capitare. Dopo un paio di utilizzi il meccanismo diventa immediato e molto intuitivo. Apprezzata anche la custodia protettiva, utile sia per riporlo nel cassetto sia per portarlo con sé (ad esempio in viaggio o a cena da amici).
