Review: Perfect alarm clock for anyone - Alright, I got a long review. So bear with me. First, back in high school, I struggled to find the perfect alarm clock to wake me up, bc I’m hearing impaired and a simple alarm clock on my phone will not work. I tried several brands. One with a flashing lamp. Which doesn’t really work. I tried other brands that also had a vibrating disk. But they quickly broke. So it wasn’t durable. Then I came across sonic boom. And honestly, the product I got had lasted more than ten years. And it’s really impressive The alarm volume is loud enough, not too loud or obnoxious. And the sound can also be adjusted as well The LED for the time can actually be adjusted for brightness if you can’t deal with light while you’re trying to sleep. Which is super cool And the buttons for changing the time… I actually don’t like this. I would have to press really hard to actually get it to move forward. And to me, it’s not really easy to do. Plus, if you accidentally went over your target time, you have to cycle a full 24 hours until you get your desired time. My one suggestion to make this easier is this: Here’s our format ##:## Toggle one of the ##, and you can easily change it. And toggle to the next ## to change it, and then assign that as either AM or PM. That way we don’t need to keep cycling a full 24 hours to get the desired time But that’s just my suggestion. But I do understand that sonic boom is made to be simple, but the buttons aren’t fun to press or adjust so I try to avoid changing it at all Thankfully, this clock brand does give you an option to create two different alarm. Like, one at 5am and one at 8am. Which saves you the trouble of resetting it every time. In addition, the alarm does flash light. It’s not too bright, but it does help me register my sleepy mind that my alarm is screaming at me. And the disk. It’s perfect. It wakes me up without issues. And it’s extremely durable. And the best part? It has a five year warranty. So if I were you, I would definitely save any paper from the box. And this battery also takes a backup battery called a V9. In case your power goes out. I bought another one bc I saw that my alarm clock kept resetting itself. It still works, but research tells me that it started to wear down and any electronics, like wireless charging pad can actually disrupt the compacitor - I forget what’s it’s called or spelled. But basically my old clock is starting to show its age. So I bought another just in case. All in all, this is definitely worth the $40. And I do recommend this brand to anyone.
Review: 10 Years Still Going Strong - I write this review because I was worried that the vibration shaker finally gave out, but apparently it just needed unplugging and plugging back in. As the title states, I got this alarm clock 10 years ago because I needed something that would still wake me up without disturbing other members of the household; the vibration shaker was the perfect solution for my needs. The decibel alarm itself is very effectively loud, so I cannot speak for it as much as I only used the vibration option to wake up in the morning, but I love this clock dearly. The accuracy of the alarm triggering is always spot on, the time display is very much visible and easy to read. The black/red appearance of it is a favorite color combination of mine. I cannot speak for the battery life as I've only left the clock plugged into the wall, but I'm sure it's just as good as the rest of its functions. The first few times you use the vibration shaker, it'll jostle you for sure, but you'll quickly get used to it and I find it necessary to use alongside my phone alarm to get me up in the mornings. Unfortunately the price is higher than what I paid back then, but considering general inflation over time and the quality of this clock? I'd buy it again easily. In need of a forever(?) alarm clock? **Q: Can I set this to silent, while still having the shaker function on? I don't want to disturb my neighbors, but need the shaker option. Thanks!**
A: Yes!  Use the shaker and flashing lights. The lights wake me up just before the shaker goes off. I'm so hard of hearing ( the reason I bought this ) that I don't hear the alarm, but everybody in the house does.

**Q: Will the shaker work effectively with a SleepNumber or other similar air mattress?**
A: I bought this for my 16 year old son who sleeps 'like the dead'.  I had SO much trouble getting him up for school and/or work.  He actually doesn't put the 'shaker' part under his pillow or mattress....he lets it dangle down the nightstand.  It causes suck a ruckus clanking and rattling against the night stand I can hear it from the other end of the house!  It has worked for him 100%.  He's up every morning, without fail.  And he had a summer job that started at 7am......he wasn't late even once!

**Q: does it have two alarms?**
A: Sadly, the one disappointment in this clock is that although there are two alarm options, they both have to be set to the same MODE. (To select the wake up mode, slide the “Alarm Mode Switch“ to your desired position: a)   “BUZZ“ for sound   b) “VIB“ for bed shaker  c) “VIB/ BUZZ“ for both sound and bed shaker  NOTE: once the wake up mode is chosen, this will apply to both alarms.) We feel that being able to have the vibrating as an initial wake up and a loud buzz as the second, would be very useful, but not possible on this model.

**Q: Is the vibrating disc connected to the clock unit? Assuming wired...but hoping wireless...**
A: It is not wireless.  Has thin wire so could be easily taped out of sight.  It is pretty long too .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Alarm Clock!

I ordered this alarm clock because the previous one I had bought the farm. It got old, dusty and just didn't work properly after about 6 years. No these won't last forever, as with most things manufactured these days, but they are a nice touch if you really need to wake up at a specific time. The included vibrating attachment is very loud, should you choose to connect it. I didn't want to be late for work a few days during crunch time so I plugged it in and set it inside my bedside drawer. Needless to say, I woke up. As far as setting the time goes, it's got a slow and fast ticker. There is no reversing, so if you miss the minute you want, you have to sit for a while to dial it in. You can also set TWO alarms on this clock and both can be activated at the same time, or just one or the other. The numbers come in a classic red as shown in the listing picture, and is dimmable if desired. I highly recommend this for anyone having trouble getting out of bed (just set it in another room to avoid the snooze button)
