The metal barb in the attached picture is on a brand new head that had never been used and was just taken out of the individual case. I haven’t seen this on any of the other heads and hopefully it’s just a one off. Just look them over before trying to install them with your fingers. Overall seems very well made and works really well. I purchased some additional stainless steel rivets and this took very little effort to get them installed. Worked perfect for my first project and it will definitely get used a lot. The case and the individual packaging for the various heads is really nice. The only improvement I could see would be for the heads to have high contrast paint in the engraved marking to make reading the heads a little easier but the individual holders are clearly marked. Overall I’m super happy with this purchase. You may have to keep adjusting for a good crimp. I had a tough time with stainless riv nuts and the hand style tool but these provided enough leverage to secure it in place. Good size and weight.
