Older pieces were made in Ireland. It will state on the box and sticker on each piece where item was made. Also, older pieces are lead crystal. While still being made in Ireland, pieces started being made without lead. Once again, each piece will state "Lead Crystal" or "Crystal". I've been collecting and using the Dublin Pattern for years and have seen first hand the changes. **Q: What is the volume of this bucket?** A: Haven't actually measured the volume; but, you can ice a bottle of champagne very nicely in it. I use this ice bucket every day and love it. **Q: Where is this made?** A: China, of course where everything is made but it is lovely and reasonably priced **Q: Can a bottle of champagne fit inside?** A: I think a champagne bottle would fit. The bucket is 6.5 diameter by 6.5 high. I guess as long you don't try for a magnum..
