Review: Quality and functionality - These work as should a direct replacement for the float and valve in my dog waterer. No problems at all, just screw in and hook up the hose. Just what I needed. I would purchase from this vendor again.
Review: So far impressed…. - Shipped fast. It is plastic so hoping it will last. Adjusted the ball and it turns on and shuts off the water fine. You will need to purchase the 1/2” female end to screw into the plunger with a 3/4” female end so you can screw the male end of the garden hose into in order to connect any water to the item. (We are using a garden hose for now). If all holds up, I’ll be connecting it to a hard pipe we will install to make it permanent, but for now, keeping it mobile by using the garden hose so you’ll need the double female ends to connect. (3/4” x 1/2”)

Bought for my automatic dog waterer after my kid destroyed my old one. Swapping them was simple without a bit of teflon tape for good measure. These apparently have two settings. Lifting the float all the way till it shifts into a groove that turns it completely off. Shifting it back down will allow the float to regulate the water flow. I paired with an adjustable water pressure regular. I set to 15psi and the float switch is working like a charm. So far no leaks but time will tell. I feel it got.my money's worth so far.
