Review: A great addition to your digital drum kit - I own a Roland TD-25K drum kit. The BT-1 mounted easily to the side of the snare in a couple of minutes. It's very solid and heavy - a quality product. Purchased it to be a cowbell, but you can program just about any of the sounds available in the drum module/brain. It's sensitive to how hard you strike it. Had occasional false trigger, but you can adjust the threshold in the TD-25 to fix that.

**Q: Is contact by drum-stick loud or quiet? (got a mesh head set for quietness of contact & hoping this would be quiet as well)**
A: It can be loud or quiet depending on how you play it. It responds to stick velocity just like other Roland pads do.

**Q: Is it compatable with roland td 30kv kit**
A: Yes. I had a TD-30 kit and used two of these.

**Q: Can this plug into any of the wires coming from sound module of either my TD-25 or td-11?**
A: Because the BT-1 is a single-trigger pad, you should be able to use any of the cables that were connected to a pad on the set. The TD-11 and TD-24 sound modules both have an AUX port that you can plug in the included trigger cable and trigger a variety of sounds with the BT-1. Unless you do not need one of the existing trigger pads that were included with your set, the AUX port is a good option.

**Q: will this fit a TD 11 module if the extra crash 2 input is taken?**
A: Yes you can plug this into any roland module with a 1/4” input connection and then select any sound to assign

I own a Roland TD-25K drum kit. The BT-1 mounted easily to the side of the snare in a couple of minutes. It's very solid and heavy - a quality product. Purchased it to be a cowbell, but you can program just about any of the sounds available in the drum module/brain. It's sensitive to how hard you strike it. Had occasional false trigger, but you can adjust the threshold in the TD-25 to fix that.
