However this does have the pivot so you can use it as a straight model as well. Overall I'm surprised I like it as much as my Ryobi which broke **Q: What is the rpm?** A: i don't know the RPM. But for what this is designed for, it works great. If I need something more powerful, I use my Portable electric drills with a screw driver setting. **Q: The power eel screwdriver which? Screw any surface?** A: I've used it for putting screws in metal, wood and plastic without trouble.
