They are not big enough to hold anything of any importance for my nine and five year olds. The bag is SO cute, and I want to love it. It simply needs to be so slightly bigger to be worth anything. Also, the material picks up any and all dirt. That was super disappointing as it’s “made for kids”. The “water bottle pocket” wouldn’t even hold a plastic bottled water, so we use it for toy swords. The good- Love the bottom zipper for convenience. Love the cute captains straps. Love the color pallet. Love the included cushion. Love the overall design. Inner pocket Holds an 8”X11” notebook, and water bottle, and that’s all.
