While looking through reviews, I learned that most are a metric 8mm thread. That may be ok for many models, but for me it wouldn't work since my right hand turn signal mounts to the end of the threaded stud of that mirror and is a 5/16" thread. These specified 5/16" in the description and they in fact came with the correct thread. Same as OEM but longer stem. I had added hand guards but the mirrors would angle the rain water down on to my hands making the hand guards useless with short stem OEM mirrors.
