I easily packed in 3 80” rods and a cardboard tube of rolled up maritime charts. There was plenty of space for all with room to spare and the cushioning in both end cups was well appreciated. The weight was fine, the design very secure and the shell provides robust protection for the gear inside. The handle is well positioned for good balance and the clips provided work well - will easily fit a padlock if preferred. I would happily recommend this case and don’t have any design improvements to suggest. This is pretty much a military grade rig and very affordable.
