It is for leveling the tile installation, whereas the heating elements would be under the tile/thinset/substrate? The levtec clips are removed after tile thinset is fully cured. However, the base of the "clips" do remain behind under the tile after knocking the tops off....not sure if that would be an issue? Wouldn't think the floor warming elements would get so hot as to melt plastic? When in doubt, contact the manufacturer.... **Q: How many clips would I need for 6x36 inch tiles?** A: Generally, you will need 3 to 4 clips per 6 x 36 tile. I want to use a 3/8" grout line.** A: Hello, You can use the 1/8 LevTec to control the lippage but you would have to use a 3/8 spacer in addition. However, with that large of a grout joint, the actual lippage tuning properties may become compromised as the tile edges will be so far from center. **Q: Does this come with wedges and pliers? or just the spacing clips? description is unclear.** A: This is the clips only, 500pc. They helped so much with getting the perfect 1/8" spacing. for my grout lines. I don't think i'll ever use a different stem for laying tile. They also have enough flexibility to bend without breaking but will break off perfectly once installed and hit from the side with a rubber mallet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These spacers worked great. *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States on 23 September 2024* These shipped faster then the raimondi did but didn’t knock off as easy as the raimondi ones did. Had to use an oscillator tool to clean the grout lines and remove the stubs left in the tile.
