While the graphics and animated soccer gameplay are simple and lack the sophistication of high-powered soccer sims, the charm of these hokey little Backyard games is that kids get to pick their team rosters based on player strengths and personalities. They also choose team name, logos and uniforms from 12 MLS teams, decide the difficulty level, who plays what positions, and the type of playing field--from grassy stadiums to vacant lots.
