One pod per foot, so if you are doing an exercise where one leg is weight bearing and the other is off the ground it is a lot more difficult to balance. I think you get a better core workout with the pods because they are more difficult to balance on so you are engaging more muscle groups than with a regular BOSU. **Q: Can you pump air into these if they lose pressure over time? If so, what tool would you use?** A: Yes, you can add air with a standard needle pump that you would use on a basketball, volleyball, etc. **Q: Is there a weight limit? How does that work if the weight is distributed?** A: Hello, The recomended weight capacity is 300 lbs. for each pod. **Q: How do you deflate these? I put too much air in them.** A: You didn't have to put air in them They are sent at the proper inflation. I am so sorry! They work wonderfully at the inflation provided.
