The whole package take Focal sound to the next level with this access Series 165AS3 component system, which includes two 6-1/2" Woofers, two 3″ midrange drivers, two TN43 tweeters, and two external crossovers. The 3-way system offers a more robust sound by designating bass to the woofers and midrange frequencies to the 3" Drivers. Coupled with a butyl rubber surround, the all-weather durability of the woven fiberglass cones ensures performance even in the hottest, most humid environments without distortion or warping. Beyond tweeter dome unlike a traditional raised dome tweeter, the aluminum inverted dome shape of the TN43 tweeter evenly disperses high frequencies, creating a very wide soundstage with fine resolution and exciting dynamics. Enhance stereo imaging by installing these tweeters exactly where you need them with included flush-mount hardware. Custom crossover this system's external crossovers ensure a seamless distribution of frequencies to the woofer and tweeter, for a totally natural sound. A 3-position tweeter level adjustment allows you to customize your High frequencies and get them just the way you like them. Installation note: you'll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install the tweeters in the factory locations.

**Q: What is the total combined impedance for all three components?**
A: 4 ohm

**Q: does the crossover have to be installed or will a 50wpc head unit blow the tweeters?**
A: The crossovers are what you are paying for. Proper frequencies to appropriate sized speakers is what allows higher volume with out distortion. You are better off using crossovers with CHEAP speakers than the best speakers in the world, pushing beyond their capabilities. The tweeters sound good at 3k and above. mids, (3") 315-4k and the 6.5" 315 Hz and below.

**Q: How do I know there are real focal speakers and not the counterfeit speakers that are going around?**
A: The price would be the first indication. The only for sure way is to purchase from a authorized distributor. That is the only way to get the manufacturer warranty. 
There are difference with the packaging and a few other things. You can see examples on focal's website. Unfortunately, you will not know till you purchased them. If they are going to make fake speaker sets they will use pictures of real ones.

A: 2-80 watts RMS power range (160 watts peak)
