THANK YOU! - I usually buy my plants from a local nursery; however, I saw this unusual variety of Hosta, and since my garden is very shady, and I always look for unusual colorings to brighten it... I gave this a try. Honestly!! I am VERY PLEASED. First, the little plant arrived well packaged, healthy with 3 small, pale leaves from the root bulb already visible. I immediately put it in a pot of regular garden soil and placed it outdoors. Although it has been a cool spring in the 60s, this plant is already thriving, growing, and showing the unusual color pattern in just a few days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this nursery!

I usually buy my plants from a local nursery; however, I saw this unusual variety of Hosta, and since my garden is very shady, and I always look for unusual colorings to brighten it... I gave this a try. Honestly!! I am VERY PLEASED. First, the little plant arrived well packaged, healthy with 3 small, pale leaves from the root bulb already visible. I immediately put it in a pot of regular garden soil and placed it outdoors. Although it has been a cool spring in the 60s, this plant is already thriving, growing, and showing the unusual color pattern in just a few days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this nursery!

Exactly what I asked for! Came packaged and shipped with care. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed is that it has a beautiful, bangin', healthy root system. My package came in during a stormy week and it was already starting to sprout, so I popped it into a pot, gave it some water, and said "grow." And grow it did! I'll be putting it in with my Big Daddy hostas now that the weather is permitting. I'd say the new leaves are definitely green, but the leaf pattern I wanted is there. Once the leaves mature, I'm sure the colors will change. Another side note with hostas is that they are slow to grow, so make sure you understand that you will need a little patience with these babies. Absolutely will buy from this seller again. Such a strong and healthy little plant!
