Review: Fine embossing pad - The inkpad was already pretty juicy when it arrived, but I added a little VersaMark clear inker because I prefer my inkpads extra juicy. So far the results that I've gotten from the pad have been excellent. the ink adheres well to every stamp I've tested, and does a great job holding onto my extra fine embossing powders. I haven't tried the pad out with my more coarse embossing powders, but I'm not concerned about having problems. My only niggle about the pad is that, while I like that the top lid is hinged to fold under the bottom and serve as a base, I wish that it locked when it's in this position. When you're using it and have the top folded beneath the bottom of the pad, the inkpad tends to lift up. I may someday upgrade to the Big & Bossy embossing pad because it's so much bigger, but for now, this meets all of my needs.

**Q: Re-inker to use with Tsukineko  Full-Size Emboss Inkpad,clear**
A: One suggestion is that after applying your re-ink liquid, rubber band the lid tight and store it upsidedown.  The Frugal Crafter has a youtube video on Glycerin 101; she uses it on herinkpads.  She uses vegetable glycerin.  Try watching her for hints on saving money.

A: I think this question was meant to be sent to the manufacturer/seller, not me.

**Q: If I use an embossing ink pad like this do I still need to use embossing powder?**
A: If you want your image to have color, yes, you need to use embossing powder in your chosen color with it. Tamp the image stamp on the ink pad then press the stamp on the paper. Sprinkle the colored embossing powder on the image you just stamped on paper and immediately shake off excess powder. Heat the image from below until the image appears.

**Q: Does the pad come juicy or dry?**
A: It's moist, not dry.
