The setup takes about 10 minutes and the scoring takes about 10 minutes too. When my family of 4 plays, one of the adults sets it up, we play the game, and then one of the adults scores. The game has taken longer if we play with 7 players at my parents house with people who don't know all the rules and what the symbols mean, etc. **Q: Which seven great cities does the game use? Is there any educational benefit to learn any world history?** A: Other people mentioned the cities. While it does not teach specific history, it can open up a discussion regarding how one might build their city, concentrate on trade, or education, or war. You can use the rules of the game to associate how that might have worked in ancient times. I suppose, it's educational the way Monopoly can teach you the strategy of owning either a few expensive properties or many lower ones, and seeing which strategy wins out; and how you can relate that to real-life money-making strategies. I hope that makes sense. :) **Q: Does this game require a lot of reading? my son is an emerging reader, but he loves games such as axis and allies, risk legacy, and memior 44.** A: Players must be able to read the names of cards, some of which are strange like "caravansary" and "aqueduct". Other than that most everything is symbols. The rules for each symbol and rulebook are quite extensive so someone else will have to read it. The learning curve is quite steep compared to axis and allies and risk but is simple once you have figured it out. I believe the age is 10 and up. **Q: Friends i´ve seen copies that have instruccions in various languages including spanish, do you have copies with spanish instrucctions?** A: You can download the instructions in multiple languages at the game's website: http://rprod.com/index.php?page=download-2 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent product for the price *by M***N on 21 March 2020* Worth the money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fast paced game *by D***D on 18 September 2014* Recommended to us, and found it very enjoyable. Will consider expansions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great family game *by F***Y on 10 January 2017* Bought this game for the family for Xmas and within days we had played over a dozen times. It's a bit complicated to learn so I would recommend watching some of the YouTube videos out on the internet that will get you understanding how to play in about twenty minutes. Having said that we have two boys aged 10 and 11 and neither had any trouble grasping it. Once you know how to play the complexity is well worth it - so many different strategies and game plays that no game is the same. It's a deck building game based on different wonders you select at the outset of the game. We really enjoyed that each game only takes 20 - 30 minutes, which for a game this detailed is a welcome surprise and that there are many different ways to win. ## Frequently Bought Together - 7 Wonders Board Game - Lead Your Civilization to Prosperity!
