## Description

For thousands of years, engineers have solved problems by designing and building new things. This informative, fun-to-color book introduces kids ages 8-12 to the many different worlds of engineering. Realistic illustrations and easy-to-understand captions explain how civil engineers build a bridge, how structural engineers erect a skyscraper, how genetic engineers alter DNA, what environmental engineers do to protect our planets, and how robotics and aerospace engineers attach a mini-helicopter to a Mars robot explorer. It’s the perfect book for the next generation of STEM students.

Review: Perfect - Books amazing 5 strars
Review: Fascinating and doesn’t “dumb down” the content - Our 6yo is really into designing things and science we thought this would be a great introduction to engineering. I love how the content is easy to understand for a kid yet is not so watered down and over simplified from what real engineering is. I was afraid our kid wouldn’t be into it given that it’s not the typical colorful kid’s book with cute drawings but he absolutely loves it and has lead him to get more interested in various types of engineering. Very smart book, brilliant content and just perfect for introducing kids to engineering.
