I bought this cue mainly because I wanted to try the shaft and now that I have maybe 20 hours of play time on it i have ro say I really like it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there is a very very small dent in the shaft about 6 inches from the tip and it is just big enough that I can feel it in my bridge. I am sure I could have sent it back but it really isn't that big a deal but for the price I would have hoped that would have been caught at the factory. Other than that the quality of this cue is what I expected from Lucasi which is excellent, the inlays are done very well, the wrap is straight and all but seamless, the joint is tight and marries the butt and shaft seamlessly. The tips is a layered tip and feels like a soft tip and once I shaped it I have liked playing with it. The shaft is as good as they say it is, I have really liked it.
