If yeast skin infection, possible but if your vet's medicine is too expensive, then see what other products you can purchase once you run out of the vet's medicine. Hope this makes sense. btw: I use several levels of different products besides Zymox for 2 of my pets skin allergies. It seems to help them with my mixture once a day dab on their hot spots. I also use Zymox shampoo and conditioner for dogs, and Malaseb shampoo. Follow directions. Makes coats soft and clean. **Q: Does it clear up canine acne?** A: Well, I found it did clear up irritations. Perhaps it would work on acne. I checked with my vet on whether it was safe for daily use and she said it was, but I'm going with the lowest dose just in case.
