The construction is good, it doesn't appear to give during a storm w/strong winds. The size is awesome when open, I kinda wished it also had a auto close but, I knew it didn't when I purchased it. Also, the size retracted is a bit larger than what I'm used to, I guess that's what I should be expecting because of the size when it's opened but, again, a bit larger than what I had expected.
