If I keep this car for another 100K miles I suspect these will crack too. They don't rust out. These are stress fractures from bearing the brunt of constant up and down motion, and the aluminum just gives out. If you want something that lasts longer, look for a more durable, more expensive replacement. I took my chances with these.
