No indications to nickel at all. **Q: Do these work decent for drop c and drop b?** A: I play in D standard, drop C , C# standard and they stay in tune just fine. There’s a period of adjustment (stretching) like any string. But they stay in tune well. And they don’t break nearly as often. Used to break strings @ the bridge but these don’t. I would go up a gauge for drop B for sure. But these are all I use for all my guitars (they make acoustic strings too) **Q: How many packs of stings do you get? I can get two for this amount at sweetwater!** A: All D'Addario's are available as single sets or in 3 packs. You didn't indicate the price. Single sets are $10.99 : 3 packs are $31.76.
