This compact fan and filter box setup fits nicely under the stairs and can move a lot of air. The filter box is sturdy and the filters fit nicely. Small detail, but the latch has a very satisfying and sturdy click. It’s the little things.

Overall I’m really pleased with this filter box. I’m building a post and beam house and there’s no room anywhere for an air handler system. Sturdy! I got this after an outside air intake was installed and a large amount of box elder bugs made it into the HVAC system, keeping them toasty inside all winter until they came out the ducts. The company installed a screen that did absolutely nothing. So after digging around to find a solution and found this. Mounted it right after the outside vent, and also put a finer screen on the outside grill as well. Not the bugs and pollen stays out of my ducts and I’m much happier
