Review: Great kit for a great price! - I have been seeking more electronic components to add to my Arduino kit, and I stumbled across this product. It looked like an amazing deal, so I bought it and test it out. Once it arrived, it amazed me how they fit a lot of components in such a small box. Once I took everything out, I in fact had everything and tested a few components out on my Arduino. And they did not disappoint as they worked great with the Arduino. BUT, the quality control for the resisters was not great. I was missing one resistor from one of my (rolls?) and they were soft, but I believe that was intentional. Other than that I've got nothing else bad to say about this kit.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where's the "triode"?**
A: There is no triode, which is a vacuum tube.  Instead, I suspect that the creator of the list of parts meant to say transistors, of which there are several varieties.  A transistor is somewhat related to a diode but has three terminals instead of two; and for some simple tests may be thought of as two diodes back-to-back.  So, a person in marketing without electronics training might mistakenly refer to it as a triode.

I have been seeking more electronic components to add to my Arduino kit, and I stumbled across this product. It looked like an amazing deal, so I bought it and test it out. Once it arrived, it amazed me how they fit a lot of components in such a small box. Once I took everything out, I in fact had everything and tested a few components out on my Arduino. And they did not disappoint as they worked great with the Arduino. BUT, the quality control for the resisters was not great. I was missing one resistor from one of my (rolls?) and they were soft, but I believe that was intentional. Other than that I've got nothing else bad to say about this kit.

Some capacitors are blank, no value markings. I just tested with multimeter...most ceramic caps are garbage. Way outside of values.
