This is probably due to the fact that the heavy-duty zipper unzips to open-up 2/3rds of the entire case (which makes it super-easy to get the speakers in & out). The top & bottom handles are solid and strategically placed which makes them easy to grab/carry either vertically or horizontally. The side pockets are big enough to hold 25' worth of "real" 1/4" speaker cables and an IEC plug. The telescoping handles and poly, roller-derby type wheels are as good as you can find on your medium-priced luggage. Overall, these are a bit pricey (as with all rolling speaker bags) but this one is made of high-quality, very durable material. I have no doubt that this rolling case will provide the best protection for my investment and if you can afford them, get 'em.
