Compact packaging, and there I thought again, are these lights going to be bright? Despite them looking as if they won't punch in the dark, guess what, they will ! ! They had a little charge upon opening so I was able to see them shine. (Can't lose when it comes to solar powered). At the back you can chose the mode you wish but it appears that it is set at random all my itself, which is a fantastic setting. I'm glad I bought the 4 pack as the string will be able all the way around my home.
