Review: 95% hatch rate - I managed to save 4, of the 8, chicken eggs that was sent to me. * eggs were sent, 2 were not fertile and 1 died inside the shell at day 19. One was able to pip its way out of the shell but died 8 hours later. The other 4 eggs had live chicks inside as I could hear them pipping on the shell and chirping. If you place the egg on your ear and hear pipping and chirping then they are alive and trying to get out. I heard this and I waited another eight hours did not see anything come through the egg, not even a small pip hole. I waited another 8 hours and on just one there was a small pip hole with no change in the size. I could hear the 4 chicks chirping but they stopped peaking at the inside. I waited another 4 hours, the next day and still no change in a break through. I could hear chirping in two eggs now and the peaking had all stopped. I started picking away at the one with the hole so the chick would breath. I candled the other three and saw no movement and proceeded an emergency c-section chicken birth. I broke the eggs on the correct side where the beak would be via the candling so they could breath. When I broke through, they stared out at me and started chirping. I placed the ones that had not absorbed all the egg yolk back in the incubator. since I knew they were now safe. I placed the ones that was still attached to the egg back in the incubator and closed it up. I waited 24 hours and checked again and found all 4 to still be alive, dry, chirping and running around. After the 3rd day, I placed all four in their brooder. after 2 weeks I placed them all in a bigger brooder and after 4 weeks, I placed the all in yet a bigger brooder. They are all now 6 weeks old and waiting for the weather to get warmer to go outside in their new home. I am new at all this but, I used my common sense after the first one died and I went with my gut feeling and took matters into my own mind and rescued them all from their shell of doom. I have since learned that chicks that are not strong enough to break through an egg shell might be because of the what the egg layer is fed or how they are treated. Maybe to much stress in their life? IDK but on day 19 if you place the egg against your ear and hear chirps or pipping but see no break through then help them out. Make sure to allow them to absorbed the egg yolk. Play it by ear and if they seem to be energized enough to go to the brooder then move them. I believe the first one died because I did what they said to do on the internet and left him in the incubator for three days and I didn't trust my own instinct which was get him out and give him water and food. Edit: I ordered 6 eggs again and 8 was sent. Two was not fertile. one died in the shell and five chicks hatched. They are all healthy baby chicks, eating just fine and drinking. I dont know what it is about fertile eggs from this vendor but, all the ones I have received seem to be smarter than normal and develop and grow to be mature chicks or maybe its just me and the way I treat my baby chicks. I handle mine a lot and am always interacting with them so, maybe that is the key to a healthy chick. I am always attentive to there needs and I come when they chirp loud so, there know that I am there.
Review: Possibly not fertilized - I placed to six eggs in the incubator at the same time as six eggs from a different farm and none of these eggs hatched. I don’t think they were fertilized all six of the other ones hatched. They were received on the same day and placed in the same incubator for the same amount of time candled, they showed no growth veining, or any stage of life.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does it take to hatch?**
A: Hello it takes 18 to 21 days for chicken eggs to hatch in sometimes is good to leave them 3 or 4 days past that. You should also keep the temperature of the incubator at 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit and 60% humidity. I hope this helps.Ladonna

**Q: My eggs were left in the post office over the weekend. I was able to put them in the incubator on Mon. Do you think they will still be able to hatch?**
A: They may be just fine. We have 5 of 8 hatch ( we ordered 6 and they gave us 2 extra). They eggs were in their own for a number of days before we incubated. Our 5 are great chickens and all different.

**Q: Can the seller send eggs to my home instead I have to pick up in post office? Thank**
A: Yes

**Q: I recieved the eggs on friday, but i want to put it into the incubator on wednesday. Is this something that would work?**
A: may be to long without heat

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Egggcellent Results!
*by C***J on November 14, 2022*

So I have a little girl named Penny and she has always wanted to be a mama, sitting on the nest, all day, I would have to force her out just to eat and drink. She didn't realize she needed a rooster...,long story short, my brother thought this was so sweet he bought her 6 fertilized eggs. We Received 8 safely wrapped and a date stamp from when they were laid. I place 3 in the incubator and gave 5 to Penny. She was ecstatic. Didn't leave them for a minute unless lifted off by hand! Annnddd after 21 days Penny’s hard work paid off!! None of the incubator eggs hatched, but those under Penny thrived. I am so happy with the result!! 5 beautiful baby chicks. Healthy and happy and best of all Penny is so happy!!!Penny knows best!! Thank you brother C. and -----Great results!!
