It is useful as some of the vehicles listed are lesser known and are difficult to find information on. Of particular interest are the descriptions of North Korean and Chinese armor which are often shrouded in a certain measure of mystery. In addition to this, the authors discuss various upgrade programs that have become more common in the post Cold War age. It is very useful for those who are model AFV enthusiasts.The book does have some problems and irritations. In general the illustrations are very good although in a few cases the illustrations do not seem to match the descriptions. The plates are all profile which are well rendered but will leave the modeler frustrated with the lack of other angles. There are a few curious selections (such as the BTR-70) which don't really fit into the 1991- present category as well as some that are only prototypical such as the Leonardo and the Osorio. Curiously, MRAPs (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) are not discussed at all.The text is generally well written but has a few eccentricities. In particular, the word "lethality" is massively over used to the point that it becomes distracting. Although a glossary is provided at the end of the text a few insertions for some of the lesser known acronyms used would aid a more relaxed reading of the text.Overall its a handy book that I could recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolut zu empfehlen! *by A***E on Reviewed in Germany on 5 April 2022* Wer sich für das Thema interessiert und über entsprechende Vorkenntnisse, so wie einigermaßen "Schul-Englisch" beherrscht, ist dieses Buch absolut zu empfehlen.
