It uses a resistive touch screen. This type of screen has thin layers that must be flexible in order to work properly. The bottom screen protector does not get scratched up with regular use of the stylus. Buy this! All the other brands scratch up within 20 minutes of installation. It’s ridiculous. Hopefully this will be helpful so no one has to go through my frustration the last several days. I cannot confirm about the top screen protector as I did not need to use it but scratches would not be an issue on the top screen protector in any case. Installation is the usual pain as with all screen protectors - nothing a can of air and the trick of taping the screen protectors prior to installation and applying isopropyl alcohol before installation can’t address. The fit is ok - the top and bottom margins might be bigger than what I am used to but it gets the job done. It does not affect the image quality.
