I use it in a high noise area, to alert when a certain machine is on. One thing I was curious about before purchase was if this was plug-in or how it would interface with my plant. FYI- it comes with two bare wires running out of the strobe that need to be connected to power. So if your not familiar with such, you might need to get an electrician.
