Review: Beautiful tissue box - This is a lovely tissue box. Please understand - this is not a tissue box cover, but a completely covered box to hold tissues. The standard oblong box of tissues WILL NOT fit into this, so the tissues must be removed from the cardboard box they came in. No problem for me as pretty much all of the cardboard boxes tissues come in are really unattractive. The way I have solved the problem of the tissues falling back into the top slot is easy. I cut a 6” x 3” rectangle from some Contact paper then cut a slit in the middle leaving an inch or so on each end so it can be adhered to the underside of the top. I peeled the backing off the Contact paper and applied it underneath the box opening. Now I had a way for the tissues to “stand up” once one was pulled through the opening. And the sticky part of the Contact paper is white to match the box and it helps the tissues stay put. Problem solved! If you’re willing to put in about 10 minutes of DIY this tissue box is gorgeous and looks fantastic in my bathroom.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it fit a box of tissue**
A: not really, but I remove the tissues from the bought box and put them in. It's not a bother really, as the box is elegant and looks great. Also, be sure to buy tissues the inter-fold so as you pull one out, it draws another one partly out. I refill it easily and often, but don't overfill.

**Q: Kleenex 160 count 2 ply: Will it fit?**
A: This tissue box holder is internally lined so you need to remove the tissues from the Kleenex box.  Having said that, insert the tissues until the top and replenish as required. I have used the Kleenex 120 and 68 count and there was still room to fit more.-This tissue holder looks nice and is well made so I would recommend it.

**Q: Is this tall enough for a box of 230 count tissues?**
A: This works perfectly without the box if you remove the pile of tissues from the box as they come. Most standard boxes of 200-plus tissues are to tall, but again, it only takes an extra second to take the pile of tissues out of the cardboard and stick them in here.

**Q: Does anyone have the "retro flower" style?  In the picture it looks like it's black around the top and brown where the flowers are. Is that right?**
A: I have the flower one it’s very  pretty blue and white flower pattern.
