I carry this around, when I get a few minutes I open it to random pages and just have fun sketching something, any time of day. This is my first time ever sketching in a 'real' book, so THAT feels a bit awkward and I keep waiting to get slapped for ruining a good book. But for me, this adds to the fun. I'm old and get my thrills where I can. And it's helping me to build my sketching habit, which ABB didn't quite do for me, it helped but not like this one. Nice size for wagging around as I go to and fro. The remarks the author makes will inspire and reinforce most readers/workbook users and will be off-putting to a few because they do not identify with the scenarios Gregory uses; some will say, "I do not have time to eat breakfast, let alone draw my toast, grumble, grumble," for example. Gregory describes some of the basic principles involved in making drawings but the main idea is get you to begin making marks with pen on paper.
