I went with a size 9 based on reviews, why aren't there half sizes?? - I live in Oregon, so I decided it was time to get a pair of Uggs since it's what everyone wears around here! I was not disappointed with these boots, they are comfortable, warm and seem really well made. I do wish they had half sizes, since I'm a size 8.5 but based on the customer reviews, I sized up to a nine. These boots to fit well, especially if I've got thicker socks on, but they are a smidge big, which does mean I've gotta watch myself a little so I don't trip. Hasn't been an issue, and I wear a wide based walking shoe, so I'm pretty used to having a larger shoe base. I do think a size 8 would have been too tight. I got some waterproofing spray to treat these, since there is a good likelihood that I'll be wearing them in the snow or wet. They took the spray very well and it didn't change the color.
