It can also help you determine what is going on at the nut and if that needs adjusting. Very easy to use. I generally adjust my own instruments, but I have a RIC 4003 with a neck that hasn't completely calmed down yet and I have my luthier adjust my bass and RIC 330. Those dual truss rods are a two person affair to set correctly.
