Had no issues with bolting it on either. Not sure about the string issue others have had but mine didn't snap right away. I broke the stock spring so got this replacement. Had to pull a bunch to get the little dirt bike running, it sat for a few years. Even with all the pulling I saw no issues. Spark plug worked great also.
