It will not work for left hand play. The slots are cut for the large strings at the top. You can not flip this around for left hand use. If you look close at the bridge you will see that there is a radius on the side that feeds to the tuners. Most music stores have precut left hand and right hand. Best to take your guitar to a music store for a fit. The width at the nut varies on many guitars.
