Review: 40 psi bottled water made easy! - Having a well these days presents water issuses with modern kitchens. I live in northern Indiana (thank god) and the well water is as hard as iron. My softner does well for the hardness. The taste of my water has alot to desire. So, like so many others I truck in five gallon bottles of filtered water from the local Kroger refill station. I bought a new fridge this nov. with a ice maker. Fact, these i m use a timer to fill the ice tray and gravity fed water will not fill the i m to capacity. A pressure of about 40 to 55 psi must be supplied. Those, a purchase of a water pump is a must. My review of the Flojet Bw5000 at this time is all positive at this time, it works and installment is simple. The bottle boot for a 5 gallon plastic bottle fits over two styles I have. Note, I wish I would of bought the two bottle hook up now. I had the room and now see the advantage, I am single and my water use is low, about 5 gallons a week with small dog. The mounting of the pump was to a wall. The pump has rubber dampners and the noise level is brief and not that bad. Water line hook ups are easey and no special tools are needed. The tubing is long at 20 ft. Just lick the lines before connecting to help things along. The line to the bottle is much shorter and will determ where you place your pump. The 110 electric line is so low in power usage that extra cord can be used safely. I placed no filter in my line to the fridge. My water is prefilted and the frige has no filter. This aviods air pockets that can affect i m timing and causes low or little cubes. I hope this review helps you all and I hope my pump last. Note, the fittings for extra hookups from the pump for coffee maker or faucet can be found at any hardware shop.
Review: A convenient, reliable, and cost effective alternative to RO systems. - I’ve had this item for several years and it’s still not showing any signs of failure! I originally had a Watts Premier RO system underneath my sink. Between the unreliable John Guest valves constantly leaking and the water tanks constantly failing due to poorly constructed diaphragms, I threw the entire RO system in the garbage. It’s replacement consisted of the FlowJet BW5000-00A water dispenser, a compatible drinking water faucet, and three 5 gallon jugs that I fill at a local water & ice store. I even added a brass T in the water line so that my water dispenser can supply bottled water directly to my refrigerator and ice maker. I no longer have to worry about leaks or filter maintenance. I’ve saved hundreds from not having to replace filters or filtration parts, so this dispenser paid for itself many times over. I’d definitely make this purchase again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is used for the discharge tube?**
A: It comes with 1/4" outer diameter tubing, and the fittings to connect it to the refrigerator ice maker line on the back of a refrigerator.

**Q: I just purchased a new samsung 4 door fridge. it has a filter inside the fridge that you unscrew and replace. can i use the flojet with it?**
A: According to the manufacturer's instructions, an in-refrigerator filter "may cause over-cycling resulting in pump failure." An empty or dummy filter housing should be obtained from the refrigerator manufacturer and used instead of the filer. If that's not possible, the use of a small accumulator tank will be necessary. The part numbers for the extra parts are in the instructions.

**Q: What is the difference between the bw 4000 & bw 5000?**
A: The Bw5000 is build sturdier. The rod is less likely to break. The pump noise level is much better then the Bw4000. The Bw4000 has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

**Q: Can you hook this up to a 4 gallon water heater to achieve hot water**
A: The application use is for bottled water. It can go in a smaller than 5 gallon jug but the wand will stick out of bottle

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Solution for Office With No Water Line
*by A***N on October 6, 2023*

I wanted a fridge/freezer for my office space but also wanted one that would make ice. My office has no water line installed, and I was mulling what to do, when I found this Water System. Because I have a water dispensing machine, I regularly receive delivery of 7-gallon jugs of filtered water, and this system works perfectly with those jugs. Although installation was a bit tricky, that was only because I did not initially read through all of the instructions. Once I did, I was able to get the instal done in about 15 minutes, and it has worked flawlessly since that time. I've had it running for about 3 months without any issues whatsoever. So, if you have a home, office, or other space where you want to pump water into a fridge/ice maker but don't have access to a water line, I highly recommend this product. When the fridge draws in water, the pump does make some noise, but not to the extent that it annoys me or my assistant at all. I also don't have to replace a fridge filter (or at least, I won't have to do it very often) because I am already running pure filtered water from Absopure into the freezer.
