The sensor alone is stable in the spot I'm using, however adding the adhesive today made me realize this is a practical and inexpensive safeguard from bumping and dislodging the sensor. I haven't had concerns about water, but only because I'm not used to wearing it yet and forget it's there until I dry off and scramble to the app to make sure it's still working. So this is a good addition to this new routine of monitoring my blood sugar.
