Otherwise, it could be a 2 person assist. Another patient has a great deal of hip pain (bone on bone) and cannot lift her foot by herself to get into bed. These sheets allow me to lift her legs while pivoting her bottom when she’s seated in the bed and then I’m able to get her into a lying position. My only warning is that these should be used with care because they are slippery and so you wouldn’t want someone using them on the very edge of the bed alone, where they could slip and fall.
