The umbrella is adorable but, we have problems when we open it. One ear doesn't want to stand up and I have to go under it and fix it each and every time. Which can cause it to be a little time consuming and frustrating when you are trying to get small children out the door.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter.  Although it is an adorable looking umbrella, it is very flimsy.  She has used it less than 5 times since I bought it and many of the metal rods have already snapped in half to the point where the umbrella is no longer usable.  I would NOT recommend buying a Western Chief umbrella given their poor quality.

I agree with the other reviewer that this is very poor quality. We also used this about 5 times before the metal rods started snapping off. The design is great, so I wish it had lasted longer. Definitely not worth paying for 4-5 uses.
